What’s brewing?

Strong coffee. Always. It’s the fuel behind all the “ings” that I do: thinking, writing, planning, collaborating, editing, posting, presenting, promoting, and measuring.

Making a good cup of coffee is not unlike creating an effective communique. Both involve a process. Selecting the bean, procuring the right production equipment, and serving it up with the desired flavors and sweeteners.

The process behind effective communication is similar. Who is your audience? What do they need to know? What do they want to know? Do you know how to reach them? And perhaps most importantly, are you willing to tailor your communications to ensure the recipient becomes a repeat customer, i.e. subscriber, donor, member, supporter, etc.
